Carved walnut Saint John (?), rough back. Standing with hands open, the Saint's head is slightly raised. His face is thin, his mouth small, his hair wavy and falling to the sides. He is dressed in a belted tunic and a mantle with collar and camail; one flap returns to the front, forming tiered beak pleats. Germany, circa 1500. Height: 74 cm Accents and wormholes. On an octagonal wooden base.
