EDITION OF 200 EXEMPLAIRES (papier vélin, numbered) - One of the very fine books published by Ambroise Vollard, illustrated by A. Rodin with 20 hors-texte compositions, 18 of them in color, 5 of which are original lithographs (Loÿs Delteil, 13 to 17), the others lithographed by Clot. A perfectly fresh copy, with one of the 15 suites on japon impérial of the line plates (Rodin's drawings are very pure and beautiful).
