Gr. in-8, blue perc., large gilt plate and mosaic on spine and boards with title surrounded by flowers, foliage and butterflies on first board, bouquet on second board, gilt tr. (Publisher's cart.). FIRST ISSUE: numerous full-page and in-text woodcut illustrations, and 8 plates of flowers colored at the time, printed outside the text, with captioned serpents. A mint condition copy with the famous Haarhaus plate with large floral motif. Malavielle, p. 158.
