A Paris, chez Musier fils, 1773. Fort in-4, red morocco, spine with 5 ornate nerves, 3 threads on the boards and arms in the center, small inner tooth, gilt tr. (Contemporary binding). Very fine and rare work, decorated with 27 engraved folding plates. Copy in exceptional condition, on large paper, WITH THE ARMS OF THE DUC D'ORLEANS (Philippe Egalité), born in Saint-Cloud in 1747, guillotined in 1793. The dedication to Louis XV is accompanied by a handsome header vignette, engraved by Choffard after Cochin, with a medallion portrait of the king, a naval anchor, mathematical instruments, boats, etc.
