RARE ORIGINAL EDITION of the first study devoted to Edouard Manet. ONE OF 50 EXEMPLIES ON JAPON, nominative, the hors-texts in two states, to which has been added a l.a.s. from Manet, addressed to M. Saunier, father of the art critic, the cat. of the "La Vie Moderne" exhibition, the announcement of the after-death sale. A rare work, with a portrait, an autograph facsimile and numerous illustrations, including 2 ORIGINAL EAUX-FORTES: L'Odalisque couchée (Harris, 56) and La Convalescente (H.,85), which appeared here for the first time, here in 2 states: papier v ergé and Japon.
