TZARA (Tristan). La Main passe. Paris, Editions G.L.M., 1935. In-12 square, black and gray box bands, smooth spine, geometrical decoration in the form of volutes covering the mastic, brown and red calf parts, yellow suede lining and endpapers, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine preserved, folder, case (Paul Bonet). First edition, 300 copies. One of the first 20 copies on Normandy tinted vellum (no. 2), signed by the author, the only ones with an original signed etching by Vassily Kandinsky, scratched after the print run. The name of Kandinsky (1866-1944) appears in the very first issue of Cabaret Voltaire, and the following year, in 1917, his paintings were exhibited at the Dada Exhibition organized in Zurich by Tzara. Along with René Char's Le Marteau sans maître (1934), La Main passe is one of only two poetic works illustrated by Kandinsky. SUPERB MOSAIC BINDING BY PAUL BONET. Coron, Les Editions GLM, 1923-1974, 1981, no. 76.
