Edition of 301 numbered copies on Arches vellum, signed by the artist in pencil. Jean-Emile Laboureur engraved 62 original burins for this work, making it not only a masterpiece of delicacy, but also his most important illustration. Daragnès took care of the letterpress printing and layout. Along with "Beauté, mon beau souci", this is the most beautiful book illustrated by this master. ONE OF 30 HEADWORKS containing TWO SUITES A PART of the illustrations, one in first state, the other in final state, as well as three unused plates, enriched with six very fine watercolors and two colored pencil drawings, i.e. eight signed originals, in the format of the volume, used to illustrate the work (engravings pp. 19, 48 and 131).
