ONE OF 25 EDITIONS OF THE HEAD ON OLD JAPON containing 4 proofs of all the lithographs in different editions, including one on old Japon printed in blue-green, signed in pencil by the artist, and three rejected plates, as well as a cover design also rejected (Delteil 247 to 249). A very fine copy, to which has been added a trial proof of a 1st state, not described by Delteil and Wittrock, before the reduction of the subject, of the plate Un cimetière en Galicie (Delteil 248; Wittrock 200), this precious proof, of great interest, probably unique.
