LAMI (Eug.). Memories of London. P., Lami-Denozan, 1826. In-4 oblong, long-grained red half-maroq, corners, gilt thread on spine, n.r., cons. cover (1st plate) (Contemporary binding). COMPLETE and very rare SUITE of twelve very beautiful original lithographs by Eugène Lami, colored at the time and representing various subjects: La Traversée, Pall-Mall, a Hunt, a horse race, a cockfight, Dover (with stagecoach) (Beraldi, 220-231). One of Lami's rarest suites, exceptionally fresh and complete with its printed cover on buff paper. This very fine copy is said to have been given by the painter Lagrenée (le jeune), according to a handwritten note from the time at the end of the album.
