(Rel. anc.) Fine and very rare edition of the earliest printed work dealing exclusively with hunting, composed around 1375. Printed in round letters, it is illustrated with 8 woodcut figures in the text and handsome ornate initials; it contains "les livres de la chasse" (the hunting books) with a few modifications to the text compared with earlier editions. A PRETTY EXAMPLE, WITH THE ARMS OF DU PLESSIS DE WIGNEROT, DUC DE RICHELIEU, PAIR ET MARECHAL DE FRANCE (1696-1788), in a truly exceptional state of preservation.
