In-8, cart. papier fantaisie, coin on spine, untrimmed, (period cart.), case with long-grained red maroq. folder, Bozérian-style stippling (Huser). VERY BEAUTIFUL AND RARISSIVE SUITE, complete with title and 52 figures drawn and etched by Debucourt, colored at the time for "Les Modes parisiennes à la fin du XVIIIe siècle". Published by La Mésangère. "This is the most interesting and also the rarest of the collections of fashions so characteristic of the early 19th century" (Colas, Bibliographie des costumes et de la mode, no. 814). PRECIOUS ENSEMBLE in its original boards, complete with the engraved title, which is almost unheard of.
