Unique edition of 100 copies, one of 50 on numbered Hollande paper, to which has been added, as a frontispiece, the beautiful original lithograph by Odilon Redon (Mellerio, 101), of which only 52 copies were printed, this one being one of five on Japon paper. Autograph address signed on the title page: "to my dear friend Madame Edmond Picard". Edmond Picard, Belgian lawyer and writer, was closely associated with the artists of the "XX" group, and in particular with O. Redon, who produced lithographs for two of his works: Le Juré and El Moghreb-al-Aksa. From the Robert and Irène Delmas library (ex-libris, sale March 5, 1985, cat. no. 313).
