ONE OF 20 EXEMPLIES ON CHINESE PAPER containing the portrait in 3 states, the etchings by Laguillermie in 2 states (including the foreword). A very fine copy, in an elegant contemporary binding, in which we have inserted the suite of 8 figures or vignettes by Lalauze for the Liseux edition, also in 2 states, as well as 6 figures by Ed. Hédouin in avant la lettre proofs.
