BOOKBINDING POSTER for Le Diable boiteux 33 deliveries at 30 centimes, 10 f. per volume... Gr. in-folio in height. Superb lithographed interior poster (Lithog. de Garneray, Passage Saunier, 19 in Paris) showing two figures climbing a ladder to paste the poster of Le Diable boiteux under the latter's mocking gaze. It is identical to the cover of the book, with the title printed in red and green on a yellow background, and the characters drawn in black, without artist's name, but probably after Tony Johannot's drawings. (Middle fold).
