M.) in center, smooth spine richly decorated with floral and cold-engraved caissons, inner dent, gilt edges, (Simier, rel. du Roi). FIRST ISSUE: ornate faux-titres, 2 frontispieces printed on chine volant, including the portrait of Don Quixote (here with moustache), two ornate faux-titres and some 800 wood-engraved vignettes in the text after Tony Johannot.
