BOUCHET (Jean). Les Angoysses et remèdes damours. Du Traverser en son adolescence. On les vend à Poitiers au Pelican (à la fin:) Imprimé à Poitiers le huitième jour de janvier 1536 par Jehan et Enguibert de Marnef frères. In-4 gothic, red morocco, 5-rib spine with cold wires, central motif in small irons, blue morocco lining decorated with lace, gilt tr. (19th-century binding, not signed, but by Duru). ORIGINAL EDITION of this collection of elegies and laments. It is decorated with two different Marnef marks (the one on the title is reproduced by Brunet I, 1162) and a large allegorical figure signed with the Cross of Lorraine (R. Brun, p. 141) reproduced by Tchémerzine. A very fine copy of this rare work, in an attractive lined binding. Ex-libris A. P. Garnier (sale Oct. 24, 1978, cat. no. 15).
