Sixty-two original drawings by Steinlen to illustrate "La Chanson des Gueux" by Jean Richepin (Pelletan, 1910), mounted on tabs, bound in one vol. in-folio, half-maroq. havane, corners, spine with light havane maroq listel, gilt head, slipcase (Maylander) Important collection of 62 MAGNIFICENT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS executed in blue pencil on tracing paper, except four, on vellum in Conté crayon. These drawings were used to illustrate : "Gueux des Champs", "du cidre il faut", "les vrais gueux", "les vieux papillons", "le bouc aux enfants", "sonnet bigorne", "Gueux de Paris", "le marchand de coco", "à mon ami sans nom", "pas frileux", "chanson des cloches de baptême "ballade de Joyeuse vie", "fleurs de boisson", "remède féroce", "le vin triste", "pâle et blonde", "Polichinelle", "Bout de Spleen", "cimetière intime", "sonnet morne", "à Maurice Bouchet", "Ballade Villon", "Ballade Ponchon", etc...
