ENGELMANN. Chromolithographic album or collection of tests of the new color lithographic printing process invented by Engelmann father and son, in Mulhouse. Mulhouse, 1837. In-4, green half-maroq., corners, n. r. (Pouillet). RARISSIVE album composed of a title, an introductory leaflet and 7 chromolithographs out of text: views, portraits, interiors, flowers, etc., the first ones which were published. Added a report on this process, in-8 of 10 p., 1837 and 2 incunabula lithographs from the Maroni collection, one of which is "Souvenir de Paris" May 1822 where Engelmann, Fürstenberg, Lory, Volmar appear...
